 LA FIERA DEL THAHARI

Finalmente qualcosa di nuovo  ha  movimentato la citta di Cartassa, (dopo la cerimonia di lady Jinny) la fiera del Thahari, e piu precisamente  nell'oasi delle Due Scimitarre.
  Non appena ebbi l'invito da lady safina, mi affrettai per mandare delle guardie a prendere e scortare lady

Shani mia sorella adottiva dal porto di Brindisium dove era in attesa della sua nave.
Intanto il capo dei mercanti organizzava la carovana che ci avrebbe portato all'oasi in pieno deserto. Avevo sentito parlare di quell'oasi, crocevia di tanti commerci tra le grandi citta di AR e della grande citta delle Quattro palme  una volta Oasi ma ora fortificata diventata una citta importante nel desrto del thahari, perche sulla via che porta al fiume wosk non molto lontano dalla citta di Olni, nostra citta gemellata e punto di partenza delle carovane per raggiungere il santuario nei monti del sardar.
Avevamo organizzato una prima carovana partita la settimana prima. con le merci da esporre e vendere,

naturalmente con una buona scorta comandata dal capitano Krys il Freddo valoroso combattente.

Inoltre c'erano mercanti della citta di CoP, di cui io sono membro onorifico,

 vidi delle tende molto affollate, mi avvicinai e lessi le insegne di Civitas Scimitar, non avevo mai sentito parlare di loro ma erano in tanti, notai poi mercanti dell'Isola di Landa, dove io ero stato scribe prima della distruzione da parte dei treve, ora ricostruita, ma non credo che Youroky e lady Zimono siano tornati li. Anche dall'isola di Svago vidi le insegne io ero stato alcune volte di passaggio scendendo dal Nord proveniente da Finnur fiord, o da Fijlsborg,  a Finnur avevo lasciato mia madre adottiva lady BB Arliss. vidi mercanti provenienti dall'isola di Cos, non molto lontano dall'isola di svago nel grande golfo del mar di Thassa. io  ci

il giorno dopo tutti insieme ci recammo nella grande piazza dentro le mura, dove gia i mercanti avevano allestito le loro postazioni con esposizioni di prodotti della loro regione, una moltitudine di gente affollava  curiosa la piazza.  mi fermai davanti al nostro stand  allestito giorni prima, c'erano tutti sir Umar Congo e lady Mae con Lady Safina. sorella Shani, come al solito arrivo dopo, lei ci mette un po a prepararsi con le sue schiave, passai molto tempo a guardare e chiedere informazione sui prodotti, e discutendo con cittadini di altre regioni  della loro cultura e dei loro usi e costumi.
 La sera era arrivata e ormai stanco mi ritirai nella mia tenda, accompagnato da alcuni commercianti che erano sulla sressa mia strada.
  Un esperienza fantastica, anche se nella mia vita ho visto tante fiere ma mai nessuna popolata come quella dell'Oasi delle Due Scimitarre.

CEREMONY IN CARTASSA

   Finally something new has happened in Cartassa
the new city rebuilt after its destruction years ago.

Tutto è andato bene, la cerimonia dei sette veli si è svolta regolarmente, anche se Lady Jinny e Sir Viper indossavano abiti da barbari, decisione che spettava a loro,  alla fine la cerimonia si è conclusa con la felicità di tutti.
